Imitation hard enamel has been very popular since it was invented in 1985, as the supply of real cloisonne was unable to meet the demand.

This type of pin is made by a very similar process to cloisonne, however it offers the benefit of being able to match pantone colours and offer lower prices.

The colours are clearly separated by a fine gold or silver metal line to bring out the sharpness of your design.

Smooth enamel and high-quality polishing give these pins a jewellery-like effect, while also being suitable for larger runs and are more cost effective than cloisonne hard enamel.
